GATA - Give Away Take Away This is list to give away items you no longer want and to ask for items you do want. Have an old foot stool that is still in decent shape but don't want to mess with selling it offer it on GATA. Need some little kids clothes ask for some on GATA and someone may have what you need. __________________________________________ Please use the following in the subject line (with location when offering and wanting). Send something that is inappropriate and you will be off the list. One strike and your out, period and is not open for discussion if you send something inappropriate. Coupons, pets ( Use extreme caution as some people could be posing as pet people but really be selling to labs), cars, lawn mowers, mobile homes, campers etc. Asking for "big ticket items" aren't likely to produce results and could anger other members making them not wanting to interact with you. On some things it is better to wait and see if someone offers. We will not be allowing adult items, fire arms and explosives, illegal items, drugs, drugs paraphernalia, etc. Please keep it G-PG rated at all times. To post a message to all the list members, send email to gata@greater-lansing.com. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to gata
Subscribe to gata by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
